London, November 28, 2023 — SentryBay, the UK-based cybersecurity software company has today announced that it has been recognized as a Sample Vendor in the Gartner® Hype Cycle ™ for Endpoint Security, 2023* under the Endpoint Access Isolation category. This follows previous announcements by Gartner placing SentryBay products on XaaS and previous Endpoint Security Hype Cycles.
According to Gartner, this Hype Cycle illustrates the most relevant innovations in the endpoint security space to assist security leaders in planning adoption and implementation of emerging technologies.
The Hype Cycle positions endpoint access isolation as an innovation trigger technology, “On the Rise”, at the beginning of the technology curve. The placement of SentryBay as a sample vendor in this emerging space, positions the company as an innovation leader in technology in an area which is expected to grow in importance and adoption.
Endpoint access isolation facilitates secure access to applications, VDI/DaaS environments, and data using local apps, using solutions that isolate and secure session data on the device. Deployed as an agent, the technology extends access to external PCs where a traditional VPN or virtualisation client software can’t be used.
SentryBay’s Armored Client utilises endpoint access isolation in a manner which does not impact on performance and includes keylogging and screen capture protection. The solution is also able to incorporate the company’s Secure Browser offering, allowing consistent browser configuration and control for any user accessing productivity apps and company data – even from an unmanaged PC.
