SentryBay, the global leader in preventative endpoint isolation protection, operating out of London and San Francisco, is recognized as a Sample Vendor in the Gartner® Hype Cycle™ for Endpoint Security under the Endpoint Access Isolation category.
According to Gartner, this Hype Cycle illustrates the most relevant innovations in the endpoint security space to assist security leaders in planning adoption and implementation of emerging technologies.
SentryBay’s Armored Client Recognized As An Innovation Trigger Technology
The Hype Cycle positions endpoint access isolation as an innovation trigger technology, “On the Rise”, at the beginning of the technology curve. The placement of SentryBay as a sample vendor in this emerging space, positions its Armored Client solution as an innovation leader in in an area which is expected to grow in importance and adoption.
Endpoint access isolation facilitates secure access to applications, VDI/DaaS environments, and data using local apps, using solutions that isolate and secure session data on the device. Deployed as an agent, the technology extends access to external PCs where a traditional VPN or virtualisation client software can’t be used.
Proven Protection Against Infostealer Malware For Microsoft AVD And W365 Endpoints
SentryBay’s Armored Client is the OEM at the heart of Citrix App Protection, and is now proven protection against infostealer malware for Microsoft AVD and W365 endpoints. The solution utilises endpoint access isolation in a manner which does not impact on performance and includes Keylogging and Screen Capture protection.
Mark Pope, CTO, SentryBay said: “It is testament to the internal company environment where innovation is fostered and encouraged, that SentryBay is consistently named in analyst reports on innovative cyber security. We are delighted to have been recognised once again for innovative excellence. Our growing customer base enjoys the fruits of this innovation.”
“With the creation of the endpoint access isolation category, Gartner recognises that there is new way of securing endpoints, separate to traditional endpoint security methodologies,” said Tim Royston-Webb, CEO, SentryBay. “SentryBay has been a pioneer in developing proactive data protection methodologies and has influenced the creation of this new category. We look forward to further leading the way, particularly within the more complicated BYO/unmanaged security landscape.”
